As a Business Partner, Madeline assists our client by providing best practice advice and guidance on employment matters and processes.
Madeline's legal studies has afforded her strong research, writing, analytical and problem solving skills, which she regularly draws upon when speaking to clients and to ensure she provides pragmatic advice.
Since joining the team in 2019, Madeline has spent a lot of time developing individual employment agreements, policies, contract for services (independent contractor agreements) and collective agreements fit client needs and New Zealand legislation. Madeline also has experience providing HR administrative support to our clients, aided by her eye for detail and ability to quickly pick up processes and systems. This experience afforded her extensive knowledge when it comes to payroll and onboarding softwares, police vetting processes, and other HR administration matters.
Madeline also has experience developing and facilitating webinars / workshops for our clients, on both a small-scale and large scale basis.
Madeline was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in November 2020 (she does not however hold a Practicing Certificate from the Law Society).
